A lot of additional storage was added with this walnut kitchen. The old 30" wall cabinets
were replaced with 42" ones that go to the ceiling; a floor-to-ceiling pantry and angled
end cabinets were also added. The large 39" x 62" island replaced a much smaller one,
and has double & single pull-out trash/recycling bins.
The sink cabinet features a 27" deep extended front with walnut columns at the sides. The
columns are attached to pull-out spice racks with adjustable storage trays. The columns do not
quite touch the floor, allowing for clearance when opening the pull-outs.
The corner base cabinet has angled drawers (28" deep) with full-extension slides
and false drawer fronts. The pantry includes a tall pull-out with adjustable storage trays and a
partitioned side with an electrical outlet in the back for storing rechargable cleaning appliances.
Deep bottom drawers built into the toe-kick area were installed in the pantry as well as one of the
base cabinets.
The granite counter tops were provided by
Bernardi Granite & Marble of Weirton, WV.
