This cherry desk unit was made for a dentist's office rather than a home office. The doctor needed a new desk for his receptionists with more filing space, and he wanted to match the style of his own desk, which is in the same room. His desk has the fluted columns, curved moldings, molded drawer fronts and laminated squares on the top.

This desk unit is 76" x 80", with two double-wide and two single width file drawers, a pencil drawer and a pull-out keyboard tray. The fan pattern on the desk top is made from individual pieces of 3/8" thick cherry glued to the substrate.
