The curved cherry slab used for this bench is 62" long, and varies in width from 16" at the narrow end to 19" at the wide end. The bench stands 18" high. The top thickness is 1 1/4".

The legs are attached to the top with 3/4" walnut dowels, using thin cherry wedges driven into the end of the dowels. The larger dowel seen on one end is to prevent the split from spreading.
